The Parrot RK8200 is an FM/AM RDS car stereo, featuring all the connections required for digital and analogue music. It is also a Bluetooth hands-free kit boasting sophisticated telephony functions. Completely built into the vehicle's audio system, music and conversations are reproduced over the vehicle's speakers for maximum listening quality. A car stereo has never provided so many connections: specific iPod connector, port for a USB flash drive and USB MP3 player, SD card reader and a line-in socket for analogue sources. The Parrot RK8200 also plays files sent by Bluetooth (compatible with Bluetooth stereo A2DP) from a Bluetooth mobile phone or player. Over 300 MP3 tracks can be stored in its internal memory. The Parrot RK8200 features the most advanced hands-free telephony technologies. The phonebooks on the mobile and RK8200 are automatically synchronised. You can receive your calls without needing to take the phone out of your pocket, you can browse the list of contacts on the car stereo's screenand listen to the kit say the names in the phonebook (TTS speech synthesis). You can also make calls using the built-in voice recognition feature. When a call comes in, the contact's name is displayed and the music is automatically muted, only to be switched back on at the end of the call. All the information from the Parrot RK8200 or phone is displayed on a particularly bright 2.4-inch TFT screen with 262 144 colours. You can easily browse through your music library and view the album covers, artists' names, tracks, and so on. The keypad sports an ergonomic, modern design, and the main commands are accessed by means of a sleek central rotary button.
